What sizes should I get?
Posted on July 12, 2015
Believe it or not, we get asked that question quite a bit when we get emails about screenprinted shirt orders, especially bands that are new to ordering screenprinted band merch. To answer simply, we don’t know. Typically, I recommend getting some of every size shirt, S-XL, and maybe a few XXL to start, because the rule of thumb is “any size you don’t have is what will be requested first”. That said, I find that customers end up ordering more size Large shirts than anything else, but that isn’t always the case. If you truly don’t know where to start, get some of each size shirt, see what is selling, then do a bigger re-order accordingly. Some bands have a lot of female fans requesting lady cut t-shirts, while others may have a lot of bigger guys wanting 3XL shirts. After some time, you’ll have an idea of what your customers/fans want as far as your merch, and you’ll be able to stock up your merch table with what you know you’ll need.
